Taxpayers making errors in their previous tax return form need not fear. This is because there is a form called an amended form to make such corrections. These corrections do not involve simple mathematical errors because those are accurately rectified by the tax officer. Some of those errors might include filling in your employment income in the business income portion.

There is an annual deadline for these income tax returns, April 15is the designated date. There are a number of ways one can forward their returns. You can do so electronically or mail it via post box or through designated mail carrier or other means available to you in Fairfax. You can either forward your tax return physically in person. One can also forward their returns through mail, or electronic mail, or through designated registered courier, or any other means. This means your mail has been filed before the due date.

A tax refund occurs when the officers recalculates your tax calculation and arrives at a figure that is lower than that you have indicated. This means that you have overpaid your taxes and that you are eligible for a refund. The office is therefore obligated to refund you. Tax office then mails you a note informing you of the excess amount that they owe you. It is with this note that you the taxpayer will use to come claim your tax refund.
